2. Independent Civic Information Service
Hardee Informed is an independent civic information service. Unless we state otherwise, we are not operated by, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any county office, school board, committee, elected official, or agency.
We summarize public meetings and public materials to help residents understand local decisions. Official agendas, minutes, notices, ordinances, policies, and court or agency filings remain the record of authority.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
The public calendar may be available without payment. The weekly newsletter, subscriber dashboard, and full article access may require a paid subscription. The current offer is shown as: $4/month. The final checkout details are shown before payment is collected.
Subscriptions renew according to the plan selected at checkout unless cancelled. You are responsible for keeping your email address current and for managing cancellation through the available account, dashboard, or support channel.
4. Accuracy and Editorial Review
We work to publish clear, balanced, and useful summaries, but we may make mistakes, omit context, or publish information that later changes. Do not rely on Hardee Informed as legal, financial, tax, medical, emergency, or official government advice.
Subscribers should consult official public records for authoritative details.
5. Account Access
Subscriber access uses your email address and secure magic links or OAuth where available. You are responsible for keeping access links private and for telling us promptly if you believe your account was used without permission.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to access admin tools, subscriber data, payment records, or systems you are not authorized to use
- Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute subscriber-only content as a competing product
- Use the service to harass, threaten, impersonate, or mislead others
- Interfere with security controls, rate limits, authentication, or payment processing
- Use the service in violation of applicable law
7. Intellectual Property
Public records remain public records. Our original summaries, organization, commentary, dashboard features, software, design, and branding are owned by Informed or its licensors. You may share short excerpts with attribution and links back to Hardee Informed, but you may not republish subscriber-only content in bulk without permission.
8. Third-Party Services and Links
We use third-party providers for payment, email, hosting, authentication, and analytics. We may link to county pages, meeting records, documents, videos, social platforms, and other third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or policies.
9. Changes to the Service
We may add, change, pause, or discontinue features. We may revise pricing for future billing periods with reasonable notice when required. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or if continued access creates legal, security, operational, or payment risk.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and accuracy.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, HARDEE INFORMED and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, service interruption, or decisions made based on summaries.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict of law rules. Venue for disputes will be in courts with jurisdiction over the relevant Tennessee matter unless applicable law requires otherwise.
